Apart from all the comforts offered by this campsite, you can also visit the port village of Port de Cap D'Agde itself. There is also an art museum in this village. Of course Luna park and Dino park are great attractions for young and old! Apart from the beautiful beach at the campsite, you can also go and discover the nearby beaches. The villages of Agde

Le Cap d'Agde - Alongside Mont Saint Loup, you come to the tourist centre le Cap d'Agde. A modern and fashionable resort with many hotels and hundreds of flats along the coast, painted in pastel shades. This is where the busy beach life takes place. Plenty of parking spaces, but paid parking! Here you will also find the large Aqualand swimming pool. Would you like to play a round of golf? That is also possible here at the Golf du Cap d'Agde. Fort Brescou is located off the coast. In the 17th century, Richelieu tried to connect the fortress island with the mainland. That was not successful. The unfinished dam now sticks out into the sea like an index finger to fort Brescou.

Le Grau-d'Agde - West of Cap d'Agde, on the right bank of the (here canalised) Herault lies le Grau-d'Agde, a more modest bathing resort. The town has a beautiful boulevard along a wide beach. If you do not like the hustle and bustle of le Cap d'Agde, you can go here. On the quay along the Herault is a cosy, small-scale shopping promenade, with on the other side, in the water, dozens of restaurant boats. This is where, in the tourist season, at the start of dusk, the great water spectacle takes place, played by teams of the "chevaliers des mers". Two large rowing boats, with a foredeck protruding high above the water, are rowed towards each other at breakneck speed. A "chevalier des mers" stands on the forecastle, armed with a long stick and a kind of shield. The aim is then to get one of the chevaliers into the water. Usually, this does not succeed after the first attempt. But it does work! Under loud cheering, one of the heroes regularly goes into the water. Regularly, because there are several teams that compete against each other. Before the big battle begins, the rowers and chevaliers go through the streets of Le Grau-d'Agde in a drumbeat to introduce themselves to the gathered crowd. This kind of water festival is held in rotation during the summer from Sète to Agde; a kind of regional sport, like Frisian handball.

Le Tamarissière - The next seaside resort at a stone's throw from Agde. Le Tamarissière is situated on the left bank of the Herault, opposite le Grau-d'Agde. Along the bank of the Herault, up to the village centre of the small Tamarissière, the campsites are lined up. Very busy in the high season. However, the crowds are not to be found on the wide beach. There is also plenty of parking here. Behind the dunes is a large area. Free parking!
